Selective laser sintering is an additive manufacturing technique that uses a laser as the power and heat source to sinter powdered material (Glass Filled Nylon 12), aiming the laser automatically at points in space defined by a 3D model, binding the material together to create a solid structure. SLS printing has a dimensional tolerance of ± 0.3% and a lower limit of ± 0.3 mm. You may find the fit of the axle forks too tight at first. This will lessen over time as the high points wear down and the fit becomes as designed.
Note: To power the Base Module, you will need an external variable DC power supply (not included).
The minimum recommended specs are 0-12VDC with a minimum rated output of 5A. Digital readouts for
voltage and current are recommended.
